Are you flying near Eloy Airport (E60) during COPPERSTATE 2008?
CAUTION — SKYDIVING AT ELOY, ARIZONA
Due to a high concentration of skydiver traffic, pilots transiting to and from COPPERSTATE should exercise extreme caution when operating near Eloy Airport (E60). While Eloy is always a busy hub for skydiving activity, this year Eloy will host the 2008 USPA National Parachuting Championships from October 19th through October 25th, overlapping with the first three days of COPPERSTATE.
Consequently, pilots planning to attend the COPPERSTATE Fly-In are cautioned to avoid the airspace around the Eloy, Arizona, airport by a wide margin and to monitor CTAF on 122.8 when in the vicinity.
