Showcase Fly-By

JOIN US! ...in the COPPERSTATE aircraft "Showcase" fly-by pattern.

Fly-in visitors are encouraged to show their aircraft to the COPPERSTATE audience the way they’re meant to be seen-- in flight!  You can do so by participating in the COPPERSTATE Showcase fly-by pattern.  Aircraft in the Showcase fly a racetrack traffic pattern designed to give the crowd a good view of the aircraft, while at the same time not impeding other aircraft operations on the airport.  You can have the Showcase pattern all to yourself, or (upon request) share it with up to three other aircraft of similar performance characteristics.  Fly-by periods last up to fifteen minutes-- and information about your plane (and you!) can be announced from the announcer's platform during your flight.

Only one catch...all participating pilots must first attend a Showcase pattern briefing (a single briefing is good for the duration of the event), where you will be assigned a "Showcase" callsign number and scheduled into the available time slot of your choice.  To get your briefing, simply flag down the “Showcase Briefing” golf cart-- or call our Showcase briefer (480-239-1405) and he’ll come to you.
