The 2019 COPPERSTATE Fly-In & Expo was a Resounding Success!

COPPERSTATE and the Buckeye Air Fair 2019 saw in excess of 30,000 people February 8, 9 & 10! That's a sizable increase over past years – and no wonder. With events such as an Airshow, Exhibitors, Sky Shop, Forums, Workshops, Youth Activities, Terrific Food Vendors...its easy to understand why crowds came out every day and flew beautiful planes in from all over the country.

We even won an award — Each year, in and around the Casa Grande area, the Casa Grande Award Program chooses only the best local businesses. We focus on companies that have demonstrated their ability to use various marketing methods to grow their business in spite of difficult economic times. The companies chosen exemplify the best of small business; often leading through customer service and community involvement. COPPERSTATE Fly-In won the Best of 2019 Non-Profit Organization category.

Since its first event in 1973, COPPERSTATE Fly-In has been bringing together aviation enthusiasts in the southwest United States. COPPERSTATE Fly-In, Inc. is a volunteer run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting recreational and general aviation through events, scholarships, and public education. Proceeds from the COPPERSTATE Fly-In help support scholarship programs for youth seeking careers in the aerospace industry.

The COPPERSTATE Fly-In is under the sole ownership, control, and operation of COPPERSTATE Fly-In, Inc. and not the Experimental Aircraft Association Inc. (EAA). COPPERSTATE is the largest Fly-In of its type in the western United States and the third largest Fly-In in the United States.

Please, consider a donation to COPPERSTATE Fly-In to help keep the dream of flight alive! As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we pride ourselves in helping to introduce, share, and educate the public in aviation. Aside from the Fly-In event, where visitors can experience aviation in person, we offer other programs including a scholarship program for youth interested in aviation that sends them on an adventure to the EAA Air Academy in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Our event, programs, and future development rely on the kind donations from those interested in keeping aviation alive as much as we are. So please, consider a donation today!
